As much as I love my settings for books in Montana, I have written about places other than that state, and I will continue to do so. I’ve been blessed to be able to travel a lot throughout my life. Here’s a round-up of books set in places other than Montana
California Romance Series
These were my first published books. They are set in a fictional area somewhat loosely based on Santa Cruz County, where I lived for a while. One of my favorite reviews for California Sunshine states, “I was born & raised in the Santa Cruz area,,,,,,this was like coming home again.”
You can buy a copy of California Sunshine on Amazon and other online retail stores … or you can pick up a fee copy by clicking here: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/18ruebxarw.
A Christmas Hope
This book is set in mid-New York State. (I’ve been informed by a loyal reader in the Buffalo region that that is the true “upstate New York.”) It’s a sweet, little novella with a grumpy-sunshine trope. You can get it on Amazon or at other online retail stores.
Chasing the Tumbleweed
My husband and I have driven the Loneliest Road in America which is a Highway 50 in Nevada. At a rest stop, we discovered a cooler sitting just outside the pit toilets. My active imagination went into overdrive and this short suspense story was born. You can get this book on Amazon or at other online retail stores.
What was in the real ice chest? Books. Mostly Louis L’Amour.
RV Park Romance
Another book set in mid-state New York is Her Son’s Secret Father, available on Amazon. This book, a later-in-life second chance romantic comedy, is getting rave reviews.
Upcoming in the series is Her Texas Cowboy which is set in … well … Texas.
Carolina Sunrise
Also in the fall, look for a new serialized novel set on a beach in North Carolina.
There you have it! All the books currently with settings beyond Montana. Pick up one of them and come travel with me.
